Another book cover...

Yet another book cover where I exploit my children's sweet faces for monetary gain! Gnyahaha...all grist to the mill for the professional artist! ;-)

Another plein air piece from September's stay on Monhegan Island in Maine. While I was there we got lashed with the tail end of Hurricane Hannah, and after a gray stormy day the weather started clearing towards sundown. There was an eerie, exhausted calm: dark sky, rosy sunset and the water of the harbor looked like glass. I painted as quickly as I could before the light went.
