  • EXHIBITION PHOTOS

  • Me in front of my work at the Small Works group exhibit reception at Artists' House gallery. My friend Alex Tyng took the shot: very fortuitously she was downtown taking photos for another project she is involved in, so she had her wonderful camera with her when we met up at the gallery!

The show really looks great: I feel honored to be included in this group of talented painters. The show has already gotten an excellent review:
"The phrase 'small works for the holidays' may remind you of trite craft shows, but when Artists' House does it, they present the best of the best, small examples of artists you might not see more than once every two years."
    p. 12, Art Matters, Old City Preview by Deborah Kravetz.

Alex took one last shot of everyone exhibiting she could gather together as we were heading out the door.

  • LEEWAY FOUNDATION GRANT

  • I was thrilled to hear last week that I have received a Leeway Foundation Art and Change Grant! It is for my Genre of Inclusion project, specifically to help with my next show of this work. That exhibit is scheduled for April of 2006, at the Manayunk Art Center (more on that later.)
